International Dorothy Dunnett Day (IDDD) 2021

The eleventh annual IDDD is on Saturday 13 November, 2021. Dunnett groups around the world are marking their calendars and making plans! Virtually or in person, groups will be meeting, and at 13.00 (1 pm) local time, they will raise a toast to the Lady who started it all, and to absent friends.

Here are early details of the 2021 gatherings. We will add more as soon as we hear about them so please check back frequently. For information regarding a gathering, contact the organizers as noted, below. All are welcome, whether you’re in the Dorothy Dunnett Society or not. All you need to qualify is a love of DD’s books!

If you don’t see your area on the list and are interested in organising a gathering — virtual or in person — please send an email to Tina Dallas (our IDDD coordination officer) at and we’ll be happy to assist you.
