It has been 27 years since I read my first DD book , third of the Lymond series, and I was hooked. I found all the books in hardback, most first editions, and have paper for my re reads. Some paper books have fallen apart now, and I am so very carefully re reading Niccolo in my signed first edition treasures. I have not found anyone writing now who can aspire to Dorothy's genius. I love her. I miss her. But, look what she has left us all.
Thank you so much for the lovely video interview with Dorothy talking about her books and those photos of her childhood.
[Mike, we're always happy to provide links to material as good as that! It's a real treat, isn't it?]
Marsha, I agree completely.
Dorothy Dunnett - what a woman, what an author! Thank you.
I think it is absolutely wonderful to have a site dedicated to Dorothy Dunnett. I do not believe I have read nor shall ever read any finer writer. She is amazing, and I only wish I could tell her how much she has entertained and influenced me.
Finally, someone who understands!
